Campbell Recreation Partners with Play-Well TEKnologies and Kaiser Permanente for Community Lego Build

Campbell Recreation invites families to a free community
Lego build on Thursday, June 19th at 5:30 pm at Orchard City Green.

The Community Lego Build, led by Play-Well TEKnologies, will be directly
followed at 6:30 pm by the Cocktail Monkeys, launching Campbell’s popular
Summer Concert Series.

Play-Well teaches approximately 90,000 kids a
year throughout the country, helping them exercise their innate gift of
building.

The Community Lego Build is the first of a
series of “Parks Make Life Better” activities offered Thursday evenings before
the summer concerts at Orchard City Green. Free, family-friendly activities are
a focus of Campbell Recreation’s “Parks Make Life Better” campaign which
promotes the benefits of parks and recreation as an essential part of our
community.

Play-Well TEKnologies leads Campbell
Recreation’s popular Engineering with Lego camps.  Children ages 5-12 are invited to register
for these camps at the Campbell Community Center. This summer’s camps are
scheduled for the weeks of June 23rd, July 21st, and
August 4th. Play-Well’s Engineering with Lego camps meet Monday
through Friday from 9:00am to 12:00pm or 1:00pm to 4:00pm, depending on age
group. Register now at www.cityofcampbell.com/recreation
as camps will sell out.
