Jerry Seinfeld Takes Vintage Bus From Campbell For Spin in Hollywood

Joined by TV co-star Michael Richards, the pair cruise Southern California roadways in an Internet video that showcases the classic bus.

A 50-year-old Volkswagen bus, that once rolled along the streets of Campbell, is now the vehicle of choice for comedian Jerry Seinfeld and his pal, actor Michael Richards.

Yes, it’s true.

Painted in dove blue, and accented with primer gray and rust, the double-cab bus previously was used as a service truck for a VW-Porsche repair shop in Campbell. But now, it’s gone Hollywood, literally.

With Seinfeld at the wheel, the pair take the bus through the Hollywood Hills in the latest installment of “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” produced by the Crackle, an online digital movie network. On their way to find the perfect cup of joe, they drive past famous landmarks including the world-famous Getty Museum in the Hollywood Hills.

Grab your own coffee, sit back and watch the adventures of Jerry and Michael as they cruise Southern California roadways. And, if you remember seeing the truck during its Campbell days, or know what repair shop owned it, log on and tell us about it in the comments area below.

That truck used to belong to my late brother-in-law. He owned European Motors. He sold it to his former partner. The truck brings back memories.
