Since her accident, a website, Angels for Shea and a Facebook Page, Angels for Shea were created to keep supporters up-to-date on how the teen is doing and what they could do to help.

The website says that Shea is currently in a semi-conscious state:

"Shea is in a semi conscious state, Not a coma. It is called an emerging State. At times she is minimally conscious. This is a part of her brain in the healing state."

Shea currently lives with her mother, Cari Shaw and her father, Robbie sees her every week. Progress is slow for the teen.

"Shea is progressing slow but it's all positive improments," Robbie Shaw says.
