Cadbury or Peeps: What's Your Favorite Easter Candy?

The approach of Easter brings about the age-old debate: Cadbury Creme Eggs vs. Peeps.

We put the question to our Campbell Patch Facebook followers, and as of Friday morning, the consensus was clear: Cadbury eggs were in the lead, with an impassioned minority supporting the marshmallow fluffballs.

Here's what the discussion on Facebook looked like:

• Kathleen O'Connell: Neither....See's Chocolate.
• Thomas Hood: cadbury
• Bryn Clark Boepple: hmmmm. . . they each require differing strageties. Cadbury takes skill and patience. Peeps are everso "pop-in-your-mouth". (But, then again, a nice molded chocolate rabbit from Schurra's is reallllllly special!)
• Erik Kuhlmann: Cadbury.
• Courtney Emerson: Cadbury
• Jaimy Hartman: Reese peanut butter eggs
• Scott Cofer: I don't do HFCS or gelatin anymore, so I can't eat either, but I used to love those Creme Eggs. Makes my teeth hurt just thinking about them. 
• Dave Molloy: If you can get real UK Cadburys Creme Eggs as opposed to the crappy Hershey made and Cadburys labelled.....you will never ever have another Peep

• Heidi Pratt Austin: Cadbury eggs!! Hands down! I stockpile on those things every Easter. I was so bummed last year when I was sick right after Easter & couldn't go to the store to get the after holiday sale stuff, & by the time I could go, they were sold out. So I looked on eBay. The cheapest I could find was a small bag for $30! Apparently, I'm not the only one who likes them so much

• Lois Jonson: Cadbury......you can give them a tiny bite and freeze the rest for much later.
