The Historic Gaslighter Theater in downtown Campbell may be seeing the lights switch on in the near future.
Campbell Project Manager Francine Principe told the Downtown Campbell Business Association at its monthly meeting Wednesday that a tenant has been secured for the site and will tentatively be open sometime in the first quarter of 2013.
"It will be a wine bar and restaurant that will offer small plates, cheeses and meats," Principe said.
Regale Winery is the prospective tenant and has filed for a conditional use permit, Principe told Campbell Patch.
This is the second wine bar to announce it will be opening in downtown Campbell. The other will tentatively be located in the former Stone Griffin Gallery spot, next to The Olive Bar.
This is the second tenant attached to the Gaslighter in recent years, with the last-Dasha-being ultimately denied.
