Shop Campbell on Black Friday and Small Business Saturday

As the big boxes ready their doors for the crowds this Friday, local Campbell merchants offer an alternative to waking up at the wee hours of the morning and getting in line.

"I believe, deep in my heart, in shopping local and independent," says Simply Smashing! owner Deb Rohzen. "I'm an independent, small business and I ask people to support me so the least I can do is bring other small, independent businesses into my store and support them."

Rohzen is hosting a Small Business Saturday Shopping Soiree at her boutique,  on Nov. 24, from 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

"It's a shopping day for the holidays and you will know you're supporting the little guy," she says.

The event will feature wares from various independent, local businesses as well as live DJ music by Mr. Chip DeVille, coffee tastings and bubbly drinks.
