Santastic! Comes to the Retro Dome

The Retro Dome, 1694 Saratoga Ave., presents Santastic! 11 a.m.-2 p.m. each Saturday in December, beginning Dec. 1 and ending Dec. 22. The performance includes a 45-minute live stage show followed by one-hour of audience participation in so-called imaginations stations including visits and photos with Santa and his Elves.

Each year in Christmastown, Santa hosts a huge holiday party, but when Rudolph takes a detour and can’t get Santa to the stage for showtime, Santa’s favorite show-stopping elves save the day by jumping in to play all the roles, keeping the audience entertained while Santa makes his way home.

Santastic! wraps up the most beloved scenes and melodies from Rudolph and Frosty to that mean one, Mr. Grinch—all of which are guaranteed to delight even the biggest Scrooge!

There’s audience participation and plenty of other holiday cheer packed into this celebration of all things Santa! At the end of each performance, the guest of honor makes it snow!

Santastic! features a talented ensemble of triple threat youth performers to tackle Motown, big band, and rock and roll versions of popular holiday songs and stories in this 45-minute one-act musical including Campbell residents AJ Jaffari, Lily Guggenheim and Bella Wilcox.

After each performance, the cast will lead an hour of post-show activities including Photos With Santa and his elves and Interactive Imagination Stations for making holiday cards, cookie decorating and more!

Performances take place Dec. 1, Dec. 8, Dec. 15 and Dec. 22. Tickets range between $18 and $44. Details: 408-404-7711.
