Safeway Gas is Hot!
Campbell's new Safeway store includes a 16-pump gas station, and the lines are testament to how popular it is (night and day).
The new on West Hamilton Avenue opened two weeks ago, but the "newness" feeling is still there with its gas station.
Residents have been lining up at the pump, unfazed by the length of the lines, because the offer of $3.99 a gallon for regular gas with a Safeway club card is just too good to beat—the next-cheapest gas in town right now is $4.09 a gallon at the 's at 2140 Winchester Blvd.).
Today is the last day of the promotional sale of gas. The gas station is open until 1 a.m. but the $3.99 a gallon for regular gas with club card is only good until midnight.
