Taking your kids to Kyoto Palace is a great way to introduce them to Japanese cuisine. Eight diners are seated around a large grill as the teppan chef puts on a show of chopping, tossing and grilling your meal. Kids 10 and under receive discounted prices and a choice of steak, chicken or shrimp. Dinners include soup or salad, steamed rice, veggies and ice cream. Other adventurous desserts are banana tempura, ice cream tempura and chocolate lava cake.

Aqui is a popular restaurant in downtown Campbell. Kids love the food, and parents love the prices and the natural and organic ingredients. Both the adult and kids menus include an eclectic mix of flavors. Kids can enjoy a bean and cheese burrito, a “chicken bowl” with chicken, cheese, whole beans and green rice, a beef or chicken teriyaki bowl, cheese quesadillas and enchiladas.

This downtown Campbell restaurant is a regular weekend destination for families who enjoy the casual atmosphere, sidewalk seating and delicious breakfast and lunch menus. The “Kids All Day Menu” for breakfast and lunch includes Mickey Mouse pancakes, French toast, chocolate chip oatmeal, grilled cheese, mac & cheese and hot dogs.

Whether the kids are seafood lovers or not, parents can still enjoy a fresh fish dinner (or steak) at this family-friendly restaurant. A special children’s menu includes grilled cheese, chicken fingers, prawns, cheese quesadilla and pasta with choice of sauce. Each kids dinner comes with a drink and a scoop of ice cream.
