Viola Wozniakowski, owner of Mane Event Salon, brings more than 20 years of beauty industry experience to her salon on West Campbell Ave. Services include cuts, styling, highlights, color, perms and up-do’s. For weddings and other special events, you can get the full treatment: hair, facial, eyebrow and eyelash tinting, nail care and waxing.

The motto at Diva’s Salon, “Where our stylists don’t have attitude, but our haircuts do!" sets the stage for transforming you into a diva—or goddess, whichever you prefer. Diva’s 15 stylists are trained and experienced in a variety of services including cuts, styling, highlights, perms and chemical straightening. The salon also offers waxing, facials, nail care and massages.

Rage Hair Salon has a mission: Provide excellent customer service and strive to be on the cutting edge of coloring and cutting techniques and at the forefront of the hair styling industry. They do all this in a “rock-n-roll vibe” setting, offering cuts, extensions, Japanese straightening, colors, highlights and more. Walk-ins are welcome.

Faux Salon, located in downtown Campbell, has several stylists on staff who can cut, style or perm your way to a beautiful head of hair. The salon has a full range of hair services including relaxing, deep conditioning, highlighting and extensions. Children are welcome, but by appointment only.

Diverse Salon features a large selection of hair care services at reasonable prices. On staff are Brazilian Blowout Certified stylists, color specialists and stylists trained in Japanese hair straightening. Haircuts for kids 12 and under start at $15. The salon also offers skin care, make-up and nail services.

I am impressed with CalTrans ability to do the cleanup, but the problem of homelessness does not goRead More away. Until we find a way to help these people in need, the camps will just move to another location, and everything will start all over again. The homeless need help - whether they want it or not. It's time to get that ball rolling.

Who is Tony Faber? Here is some history from a family member. My name is Karen Hunt and myRead More grandfather is and was Albert Jacob Faber. He owned and ran that bike shop up until his death in 1975. Subsequent to grandpa's death the house/building became the property of my grandmother, Lucille Faber. Upon her death, the property went to my mother, Jackie Faber-Cornick. In 1978, the business, not the building was sold to Alex Lariviere and he has conducted business since. The building was never sold and belongs to my mom, Jackie Cornick. It was her great-grandparents home back in the 1920's. We are shocked and saddened by this tremendous loss. At this time, we are trying to decide the fate of that beloved building. We are currently awaiting forensics tests, engineering and structural reports, and working with the City to keep it safe and prevent it from being vandalized and becoming a blight. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have about the history of Faber's Cyclery. My grandfather was a man of character and integrity. Sadly, neither of his two sons became involved in the business. With that said, anybody claiming to be a Faber or son of Albert Jacob, is just misrepresenting the truth.
