Oktoberfest This Weekend!

Volunteer and put yourself in the middle of the action at this fun event.

Beer, brats, music and more are in store for you this weekend at the Campbell Chamber of Commerce’s Oktoberfest celebration.

The event will take place in Downtown Campbell from 10am-6pm on Saturday, October 15 and 10am-5pm on Sunday, October 16.

If you’re hoping for an authentic Oktoberfest, look no further than Campbell’s celebration. The menu will include Bratwurst—a mild German sausage; German potato salad—typically made with bacon pieces and tossed with a mustard vinaigrette; and sauerkraut. Wine and a variety of beers and ales will be available to wash down all that great food.

Kids can enjoy the celebration, too, at the kinderplatz, or children’s play area.

Over 100 arts and crafts vendors will be on hand, as well as an impressive lineup of live music.

The entertainment schedule for Saturday includes The Alpiners Oktoberfest band; California Repercussions, a 45-70 piece band which plays rock-n-roll as well as traditional band music; and Road Dogs, a classic rock band.

On Sunday, The Alpiners make another appearance, as well as Bug Horn Rex, a New Orleans-style band; Tin Man, classic rock; and The Playbacks.

The Chamber is looking for volunteers, and helping out at the Oktoberfest is a fun way to get involved, meet new people and enjoy all the event has to offer. A schedule of available shifts and a volunteer application can be found here.

Admission to the Oktoberfest is free. For more information, visit the Chamber’s website or call 408-378-6252.
