New Gourmet Chef, Casual Dining Coming to the Pruneyard

A new top-flight restaurant will join the Pruneyard.

Hobee's is out because of high rents at the Pruneyard, but yesterday gourmet chef Jeffrey Stout, of Alexander's Steakhouse, signed a lease for a 6,200-square-foot restaurant to be called Orchard City Kitchen, according to Inside Scoop, the restaurant guide.

Alexander's is a one Michelin star restaurant, but lost the star when it lost Stout, the website says.

Stout plans a spring opening for a restaurant that he says will be a "small casual restaurant specializing in shareable plates." It will have indoor and outdoor dining.
