New Column: What Should Go Here?

In the coming days we’ll be starting a new column titled “What Should Go Here?”

In this column, we’ll feature a vacant retail space and ask you what you would like to see there.

Other Patch sites in Silicon Valley have run these types of articles, but their main purpose was to engage the community, in the hope that someone in the community would do something with those suggestions.  However, this time we’ll be asking you to make your suggestions on Spotmojo.com, a website where I’m a co-founder.

Spotmojo is a website where you can suggest the businesses you want in your neighborhood. We use that information to try to attract those businesses here. We also provide the information to commercial property owners and brokers so they can use it as well.

Spotmojo’s goals are to give the community a voice in the types of businesses that open in their community, and to help local businesses succeed by finding a location where there’s strong demand for their services.

Although Campbell has a wide range of shops and restaurants, there are some vacancies.  We look forward to your participation, to help shape the business community in Campbell.
