With the holiday season right around the corner, many stress over what to buy and where to buy it.

Supinko Boutique at the Pruneyard Shopping Center just might have an item or two that will offer gift givers and receivers unique items.

This four-month-old boutique offers clothing, jewelry, bags and accessories that range between $30.00 to $130.00 and guarantees that shoppers will be getting products of quality that are unique.

Sunee Komoncharoensiri, owner of the local boutique loves fashion and helping others finding the perfect ensemble.

“I love dressing people up and helping them find what works for their body when it comes to fashion,” she says.

Komoncharoensiri worked at David’s Bridal for seven years before coming to the realization that what she really wanted to do was open up a boutique.

Supinko offers various lines, including Shewan Designs, an accessory line that combines American designs with a Middle Eastern twist. Fashionistas will get an exotic touch with this particular designer. Accessories have various jewels and bead work embroidered onto them, touching up any existing outfit you may have in your closet.

There are belts made of fur that you can wear around any sweater that you have, creating a sophisticated look for any occasion. There are also cuffs that can be worn around wrists; resembling bracelets that will help anyone make a striking appearance at any special occasion.

“We have accessories to dress up any outfit and carry a collection for any formal get together, party and/or wedding,” Komoncharoensiri says.

Supinko Boutique is located at 1875 S Bascom Ave., #400 at the Pruneyard Shopping Center.

I am impressed with CalTrans ability to do the cleanup, but the problem of homelessness does not goRead More away. Until we find a way to help these people in need, the camps will just move to another location, and everything will start all over again. The homeless need help - whether they want it or not. It's time to get that ball rolling.

Who is Tony Faber? Here is some history from a family member. My name is Karen Hunt and myRead More grandfather is and was Albert Jacob Faber. He owned and ran that bike shop up until his death in 1975. Subsequent to grandpa's death the house/building became the property of my grandmother, Lucille Faber. Upon her death, the property went to my mother, Jackie Faber-Cornick. In 1978, the business, not the building was sold to Alex Lariviere and he has conducted business since. The building was never sold and belongs to my mom, Jackie Cornick. It was her great-grandparents home back in the 1920's. We are shocked and saddened by this tremendous loss. At this time, we are trying to decide the fate of that beloved building. We are currently awaiting forensics tests, engineering and structural reports, and working with the City to keep it safe and prevent it from being vandalized and becoming a blight. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have about the history of Faber's Cyclery. My grandfather was a man of character and integrity. Sadly, neither of his two sons became involved in the business. With that said, anybody claiming to be a Faber or son of Albert Jacob, is just misrepresenting the truth. Thank you for sharing your story and memories! Very truly yours, Karen Hunt Great grandaughter of the owner of the Original Fabers Cyclery.
