Campbell's On The Corner Music breaks in new audio system with art show and sale.

What do gourds, vinyl and monsters all have in common? Well, on Aug. 26 these items will make for a good Friday night.

The group show is being put together by local artist Michael Foley and he's put together what he says is a "celebration of music and art."

"Knowing this is a shop that carries older and newer pieces of vinyl I thought it would be a great excuse to show less-seen pieces from myself and newer works from the artists," Foley says. "The theme (Scary Monsters and Super Beats) came to me when I had to make the flyer. I just kept thinking about David Bowie's "Scary Monsters and Super Creeps" and took some liberty with the title.

"Of course we have some music based pieces and my Oni (and other cute little monsters) make and appearance," he says.
