Jamba Juice Gets Sweet on Customers for Valentine's Week

The juice company is offering a limited deal Feb. 11-Feb. 15 in appreciation of its customers.

This week is a time for romance, a time for remembering what it was about the object of your affection that brought you together in the first place and, for one retailer a time to be thankful.

Starting Monday, Feb. 11 and going through Friday, Feb. 15 Jamba Juice is showing its appreciation to its customers by offering a sweet deal.

Between the hours of 9 and 11 a.m., customers can purchase any 16 ounce smoothie for $1, no coupon required. Promotion excludes applicable tax.

The smoothie costs $4.99 regularly.

Although the Orchard City doesn't have a Jamba Juice within its borders, the nearest locations include:

  • 1030 El Paseo de Saratoga in San Jose
  • 2029 Camden Ave. in San Jose
  • 1570 South Bascom Ave. in San Jose

I am impressed with CalTrans ability to do the cleanup, but the problem of homelessness does not goRead More away. Until we find a way to help these people in need, the camps will just move to another location, and everything will start all over again. The homeless need help - whether they want it or not. It's time to get that ball rolling.

Who is Tony Faber? Here is some history from a family member. My name is Karen Hunt and myRead More grandfather is and was Albert Jacob Faber. He owned and ran that bike shop up until his death in 1975. Subsequent to grandpa's death the house/building became the property of my grandmother, Lucille Faber. Upon her death, the property went to my mother, Jackie Faber-Cornick. In 1978, the business, not the building was sold to Alex Lariviere and he has conducted business since. The building was never sold and belongs to my mom, Jackie Cornick. It was her great-grandparents home back in the 1920's. We are shocked and saddened by this tremendous loss. At this time, we are trying to decide the fate of that beloved building. We are currently awaiting forensics tests, engineering and structural reports, and working with the City to keep it safe and prevent it from being vandalized and becoming a blight. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have about the history of Faber's Cyclery. My grandfather was a man of character and integrity. Sadly, neither of his two sons became involved in the business. With that said, anybody claiming to be a Faber or son of Albert Jacob, is just misrepresenting the truth. Thank you for sharing your story and memories! Very truly yours, Karen Hunt Great grandaughter of the owner of the Original Fabers Cyclery.
