Hobee's in the Pruneyard to Close Jan 5, After 15 Years

City officials will celebrate Hobees at noon Friday with free coffee cake for everyone.

The popular Hobee's is leaving town this week and the city is commemorating its 15-year-stay in the Pruneyard with a ceremony at noon. 

There will be free coffee cake for everyone who shows up.

Rent is doubling, the owner says. This is the second longtime Campbell fixture to leave the Pruneyard this year. Boswell's, the city's last live music club, shut down New Year's Day.
