Ho, Ho, Ho: First Friday Celebrates Its First Anniversary

Musicians in the streets, restaurants bustling, and Santa hats in abundance. Los Altos Forward marks a year of putting feet-on-the-street-after-6 each month.

Hard to believe that a full year of First Fridays has gone by.

The there were all the tell-tale signs: Families walking the streets, kids and adults scanning store shelves hard to find the next token to add to their collection in their booklet.

... and, just to keep things fun, a band of tubas puffing, "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" outside of storefronts all about downtown. (And did we mention the dinosaur leg for sale in the Nature Gallery?)

When it immediately struck a chord with families, who took to the streets. First Friday has now completed a full year of making downtown a lively place to be at night. Congratulations!

If you have photos from the night, if you captured the scene, post them here!
