The owners of Liquid Bread Gastropub are opening Spread Deli & Bottles, replacing the former specialty waffle and beer restaurant with a limited selection of sandwiches and bottled beer.
The downtown deli is having its grand opening this Saturday, July 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 193 E. Campbell Ave.
Its menu can be viewed online and includes sandwiches, salami and sides. Sandwiches on the menu include the Prochetta (braised greens with candied garlic spread), the Weedwhacker (hummus, black garlic, avocado and sprouts) and the Torta (braised pork, bean spread, avocado and cotija). Some of the sides include potato salad, mac 'n cheese and potato chips.
