California's Rescue 25 Restoration Project for its' retired paramedic vehicle is in recognition of Northern California's first paramedic program.

The project is being co-sponsored by the City of Campbell and former City of Campbell and Santa Clara County firefighter/paramedics and employees referred to as Friends of Rescue 25 (Friends). After meeting their first fundraising goal, Rescue 25 is entering stage two, the actual restoration of the vehicle to its original service condition.

Rescue 25 will remain the property of the City of Campbell assigned to the Campbell Historical Museum collection.

It will be used for educational programs and for civic events.
