The boxes and bags of books, CDs and DVDs have been steadily coming into the downtown boutique and Simply Smashing! owner Deb Rohzen says keep them coming.
in downtown is asking you bring in your old romance novels, sci-fi books, forgotten movies and CDs to help cheer up all the troops around the globe.
The local boutique is serving as the drop off through the end of the month (June 30) for the Los Gatos Chapter of Women's Networking Alliance and all books, CDs and DVDs will be donated to the Blue Star Moms of the South Bay.
This however is not your old media's final destination. The Blue Star Moms of the South Bay will then include them in Fourth of July care packages for the troops serving all around the globe.
And besides that warm, happy feeling you get when you've done something good, Simply Smashing is throwing in a 10 percent off your entire regular-price purchase through June 30!
