What's the difference between root beer, birch beer and sarsaparilla?
invites the public to find out at their first root beer tasting this Friday, May 18 from 5:00-9:00 p.m.
"One comment we consistently get is that there are so many sodas in here that they don't know what they'd like," says Chris Dunn, co-owner of the soda and candy shop. "There are a lot of people that don't drink so they can't do wine or beer tastings. This is an opportunity to try something different."
The shop offers 50 different varieties of root beer but the Friday tasting will include three different root beers and two sarsaparillas.
The tasting costs $5 and includes a commemorative tasting glass.
kicked off its first tasting with Dunn's five favorite sodas on May 3. He eventually would like to hold the events every week.
