Grillin' for a Good Cause

Grill'em Steakhouse and Bar on Bascom will donate 10 percent of its total sales pre-tax to Relay for Life of Campbell today.

Feel like getting your grub on but don't know where to eat?

Consider heading down to Grill'em Steakhouse and Bar on Bascom for a burger, beer or a cooked-to-perfection steak. The restaurant is donating 10 percent of its total sales, before tax, to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Campbell today and needs the community's help in supporting the team's efforts to fight cancer.

"A good customer of ours is a Relay for Life member, so we try to support her and the team any way we can," said Syndee Nguyen, owner of the restaurant. "We did this last year also so we think this might become an annual thing."

Nguyen said that the team brings in a good amount of customers but that the support of the Campbell community makes all the difference in boosting funds for the Relay team.

"This is a absolutely a good cause," she said. "It's a joint effort between us, the Relay group and the community."
