PHOTOS: Year of the Dragon

Members of the West Valley Asian Church celebrate the Lunar New Year with food, dance and music.

More than 120 members of the West Valley Asian Church gathered Saturday evening to celebrate the Lunar New Year with food, dance, music and good conversation.

Members of the congregation all pitched in to cook traditional New Year's dishes such as roasted pig, sweet rice and several desserts.

The evening concluded with a children's traditional Lion Dance to help get rid of evil spirits for the New Year.
