Get Out in Campbell!

Fun at the brewery, a trivia fundraiser and a villa tour are some of the offerings in and around town this weekend.

It's Thursday, and the weekend is approaching. Spring is approaching—we know that because on Saturday night, we get to "spring forward" and set our clocks ahead. So we'll lose an hour, but we will still want to find things to do for the weekend!

Patch has done some research for you. Here are our suggestions for some of the coolest things to do in and around Campbell  this weekend. So go ahead and "Get Out!"

Where/When: , 1875 S. Bascom Ave. Thursday, 6-9 p.m.

Why Go: Enjoy the beer and support the Campbell Historical Museum and its effort to Refurbish Rescue-25. The money raised with the beer you buy will help do that.

Pricing: Whatever you spend

Where/When: , 2165 Winchester Blvd. Thursday, 7-9 p.m.

Why Go: This is a team effort at trivia to raise funds to support  Citizen Schools at Campbell Middle School. Support the school and test your knowledge. You need no other reason to go!

Pricing: $25 (suggested donation)

When/Where: 4:30-6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sharks Ice Arena, 1500 S. 10th St., San Jose

Why Go:  It will be fun. This is the winery's second Ice Skating Party. Everyone liked it so much last year, it was put back on the calendar, and now it will be an annual thing. There will be a private area for the party, and coaches will be around. You can bring your children with you, too! 

Pricing:  $20

When/Where: Saturday, 1 p.m., Montalvo Arts Center, 15400 Montalvo Rd., Saratoga

Why Go: Learn about life here in the last century while you spend a very nice afternoon on a guided tour of the grounds of the villa. Trained docents will take you around on this two-hour visit.

Pricing: Free for members and guest; $10 nonmembers.

When/Where: Noon-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, , 26985 Loma Prieta Way, Los Gatos

Why Go: Taste this year's petite sirah at the winery's release party. Special prices on wine, and on Sunday, Bill the Oyster Man, is expected for a visit.
