Get Out in Campbell this weekend!

Here are our suggestions of five things to do in and around Campbell this weekend, maybe even before the weekend gets started!

It's Thursday, which means the weekend is approaching, and as always you are wondering what you might do. We've got a five suggestions for you that we hope you'll enjoy.  There's a lot going on this weekend, so "GET OUT" and enjoy yourself.  

Where/When: Heritage Theater, 1 W. Campbell Ave. Friday and Saturday, 8 p.m.

Why Go: There's a reason why Defending the Caveman holds the record as the longest running solo play in Broadway History. And you should go see it to find out. Lots of laughs, lots of humor about relationships. It's back in Campbell for the third consecutive year, and once again, there's a good reason for the return engagement. The play is hilarious.

Where/When: Villa Ragusa, 35 S. 2nd St. Friday, 4-7 p.m.

Why Go: Great chance to network and to meet and greet others in Campbell's business community. This is the Campbell Chamber's third annual expo, and you know what they say about the third time—it's the charm. Don't miss it.

Where/When: Filoli House, 88 Canada Rd., Woodside. Friday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 

Why Go: Because it will be beautiful. "Daffodil daydreams," is an annual display of nearly a million daffodils and three days of talks, tours, demonstrations and hands-on activities to celebrate Filoli House's 35th year. Imagine the scene—that many daffodils at one time. It will be breathtaking!

Where/When:  , 20 University Ave. Los Gatos. Friday, 8-10 p.m. (doors open at 7:30 p.m.)

Why Go: The Daedalus String Quartet, from New York City, opens the winter/spring 2011 Sunset Concerts at Saint Luke's Church series. This is its 12th season of presenting world-class ensembles playing classical chamber music in St. Luke's intimate, acoustically live, 150-seat church sanctuary. The quartet has performed at Carnegie Hall and on Lincoln Center's Great Performers Series—and now for you in Los Gatos. The group will perform Mozart's late Quartet K.589, Alban Berg's Quartet #3 and Robert Schumann's Quartet Op.41 #1.

Pricing: Adults, $25; seniors, $20; students, $10.

Where/When: , 416 N. Santa Cruz Ave., Los Gatos. Sunday, 2-5 p.m.
