Dia De Los Muertos in Campbell

Celebrate through art and culture this Saturday at Sonya Paz Gallery.

Traditionally speaking, the celebration of the dead or Dia De Los Muertos is Nov. 1 and 2.

The tradition of celebrating the life of the dead through food, arts and family is a custom that originated in Mexico. Typically, altars are built to dead family members and include photos, favorite items and foods.

In most regions of Mexico, Nov. 1 is the day the lives of children and infants are celebrated while Nov. 2 is the day the lives of adults are celebrated.
