Calling Dining Aficionados: Silicon Valley Restaurant Week Starts Oct. 17
Participating restaurants are offering special three-course prix fix meals.
Mark your calendars, dining aficionados: Silicon Valley Restaurant Week is coming to a gourmet kitchen near you October 17 to 24.
Participating restaurants -- which range from Polish to Mexican cuisine -- are offering three-course, prix fix dinners excluding beverages, tax and gratuity. Prices range from around $20 to $40, depending on the restaurant. Campbell has two of its local eateries on the list: BYR of Belgium and Capers Eat and Drink.
Organizers say they want to draw more attention to Silicon Valley, which they deem a hidden gem in the dining world: a mix of ethnic cuisine with fresh California ingredients. In the past, they added in a news release on the event, restaurants have seen up to a 40 percent spike in customers during the week.
