WWII Vet Speaks at Memorial Day Service
Mr. Dae Baird, who lives at the border of Campbell and San Jose tells his story to an eager crowd.
As his name was called, the 93-year-old World War II veteran stood up from his seat and walked right across the cement floor at the .
He got to the podium, cleared his throat, and began to tell his story. He began to talk about the relationship between World War I and WWII veterans and how, in 10 years, WWII vets may disappear as quickly as WWI vets did, taking their stories, their memories, their connection to our history with them.
