It's that time of year when the shamrocks and green beer come out to play, and evidence of this can be seen all around the Orchard City.
Here's a quick list of places in Campbell to celebrate a little bit of green this weekend:
Frost Cupcake Factory
This downtown eatery is offering a twist to your traditional green beer and Irish Whiskey: the Irish Frost Bomb, available through March 17. This little cupcake is packed with Guinness chocolate cake, filled with Jameson whiskey, chocolate ganache, and topped with Baileys cream cheese frosting. Can someone pinch us, please?
Saturday is “St. Practice Day” at this local establishment. The Duvets, a cover band, will be playing and there will be green beer on both days for those looking for it. On Sunday, the bar opens at 10 a.m. and will be serving an Irish Breakfast:cornbeef, eggs and potatoes, on a first come, first eat basis, starting at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Love Jones and the Sinners will be playing from 2 to 6:00 p.m.
DJ Davey K will be performing from 3-7 as well as drink specials.
The Fifth Annual Green Day at The Spot offers live music on the patio, DJs, corned beef, Irish Whiskey shots and Irish Car Bombs.
Sonoma Chicken Coop
The Coop downtown has corned beef and cabbage all day Sunday as well as DJ Iceman from 9-11 p.m.
Capers Food & Drink
Over at the Kirkwood Plaza, Capers is offering live music, Irish food and drinks all day Sunday.
