It's going to get a little wet in the South Bay.
Campbell can expect a high of 56 on Wednesday and a low of 39 with 70 percent chance of showers.
There is a slight chance of thunderstorms and light rain is forecast throughout the region Wednesday.
On Bay Area peaks of 2,500 feet and above, a light dusting of snow is possible as temperatures plummet Thursday.
By the weekend it will warm up, with highs in the mid- to upper 60s, and no rain expected, Anderson said.
"It will be a great weekend," he said.
Anderson said a several-day stretch of damp, cold weather is typical for this time of year.
"It may feel colder because we haven't had any true winter" weather recently, he said.
