Wet Weather Ahead for Campbell, Region

Sunny skies are expected to return by the weekend.

 

It's going to get a little wet in the South Bay.

Campbell can expect a high of 56 on Wednesday and a low of 39 with 70 percent chance of showers.

There is a slight chance of thunderstorms and light rain is forecast throughout the region Wednesday.

On Bay Area peaks of 2,500 feet and above, a light dusting of snow is possible as temperatures plummet Thursday.

By the weekend it will warm up, with highs in the mid- to upper 60s, and no rain expected, Anderson said.

"It will be a great weekend," he said.

Anderson said a several-day stretch of damp, cold weather is typical for this time of year.

"It may feel colder because we haven't had any true winter" weather recently, he said.
