Volunteers Searching for Missing South Bay Rescue Dog

Pippi disappeared Oct. 17 from her San Jose home, but has been spotted near the San Jose/Campbell border

Campbell Patch reader Deb Codiroli is asking the community for help in locating Pippi, a small rescue dog that disappeared from her foster home in San Jose last week.

Pippi is a 14-pound female that appears to be a miniature Aussie/Chihuahua mix with no tail. In a posting on Campbell Patch, Codiroli described Pippi as skittish around people but said she loves other dogs and might approach a person if they were walking a dog.  Pippi has been spotted wandering near the Campbell/San Jose border.

The dog was recently saved by the St. Francis Animal Protection Society rescue group from a San Jose animal shelter and was living at a foster home is San Jose’s Willow Glen area.
