The Tale of Maori Continues

The cat that went missing late January and found early February is now a proud mommy.

It all began with a Tweet.

Campbell Patch received a tweet from a reader that their cat had gone missing and if we could on the site. Of course, we did and when Maori the cat was found, her relieved parents .

Now, we were happy to be contacted once again by Maori's human parents about another twist in the tale of the missing, and found kittie in Campbell.

An update on the Maori saga! We were woken at 5:30 a.m., Tuesday 27th March by a squeaking noise! Maori had quietly given birth to three kittens, was delivering another and shortly afterwards completed a litter of five.

There are four tabby kittens and one all black. We think it might be two boys and three girls, but we're not sure yet and we don't want to interfere with them while they are young.

I have attached several photos (I defy any photographer to resist taking photos of newborn kittens!) most are from yesterday, the one titled "Maori and minimaori" is one of the kittens at two hours old!

Dan
