Six Things to Do in Campbell This Weekend

Campbell is loaded with events every week. Here's our "short list" of things to check out before the weekend's over.

 

August is here and so is the warm summer weather. You don’t want to miss the action this weekend, so get out and enjoy what Campbell has to offer. If we forgot any events, please let us know what, who, when and where in the comments section below.

1. First Friday: Hot Night in the Old Town, 6 to 9 p.m.

Vroom, vroom! This week features a classic car show hosted by the Cadillac Kings Car Club and live music for the Hot Night in the Old Town theme. Enjoy free entertainment, late-night shopping and yummy eats as well.

2. Songwriter’s Circle, Friday, 6 to 8:15 p.m.

Calling all musicians, join others with the same passion for music at . Get out there and have your music heard!

3. Sundown Cinema, Friday, 8 to 11 p.m.

Kick back and relax as you watch The Big Sleep, filled with murder, blackmail, intrigue and romance. Bring a chair and blanket to the parking lot next to .

4. Yoga in the Park & Breakfast, Saturday, 8:30 a.m.

Start your Saturday off right with some exercise and heart-healthy food. Warm up with a walk from to , followed by yoga in the park taught by Angie Poon from Just Breathe Yoga. Then fill your tummy with a healthy breakfast. The event is free.

5. Car Seat Inspection Event, Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Keep your little ones safe by ensuring their car seats are properly installed. Safe Kids of Santa Clara and San Mateo is offering free personal instruction on how to properly use and install a car seat at . The event is free, but reservations and a $15 refundable deposit are required. Call at 408-866-2925 to reserve a spot.

6. Farmers’ Market, Sunday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Fill up your pantry with produce and other treats from the farmers’ market. Enjoy the beautiful weather and take a stroll with the family.
