San Jose Bike Party Rides Through Campbell Tonight

Watch out for the crowd of cyclists going through the Orchard City tonight at 8:00 p.m.

The monthly bicycle ride known as San Jose Bike Party is celebrating its 5th anniversary with a Halloween costume ride tonight at 8:00 p.m.

The route that cuts through Campbell begins in front of the Heritage Theatre, ride through the downtown and turns onto Bascom Avenue.

The rides are open to all ages, all levels of cyclists. Somewhere between 2,000 and 4,000 riders participate and ride for 15-30 miles. The overall goal of the rides is to build community, the SJ Bike Party webite states.

The site also encourages the following items for a safe ride:

  • Lights 
  • We ride rain or shine, so bring weather-appropriate clothing.
  • Helmet
  • Snacks and water 
  • Repair kits/tools
