Readers' Choice Winner: Taqueria Los Pericos

This week's winner embodies why this series is called the Readers' Choice.

Not making it on the initial list of burrito purveyors on Monday, through the comments section and on Tuesday, Los Pericos was in the running. The taqueria received 58 percent of the votes and edged out another local favorite: .

Of the total 55 votes cast this week, Los Pericos received 32, followed by Jalisco, which received 9.

The poll included eight local Mexican food establishments that we knew of, which served burritos.
