Pic of the Day: That's So Squirrely

I was at a few weeks ago and saw something very interesting. A man was sitting on a bench, eating a pastry. Directly below him, a squirrel brazenly stood on its hind legs, stretching its arms between the slats of the bench trying to get a bite.

I asked the man, who's name escapes me, if he realized he had a very bold squirrel underneath him and he said:

"Yeah. I gave him some of my bagel but draw the line at the coffee. Having a jittery squirrel in the park is the last thing we need."

This photo was taken downtown, not at John D. Morgan Park, but maybe they're needed all over town.
