Pic of the Day: From Vinyl to 8-tracks, Cassettes to CDs and MP3s

Music has changed so much in the last 50 years. How do you consume your music?

"Music can name the unnameable and communicate the unknowable." --Leonard Bernstein

From the svelte original gramophone (vinyl record) to the clunky 8-track, the compact cassette tape, the CD and finally, digital music; it's been a long road.

So it's always interesting to see these record stores, like Rasputin in Campbell and Streetlight just down the street in San Jose still in business and even selling CDs at the register, all in this new age of music. Where do you buy your music?

Love Streetlight! Worked there in the late 80s/early 90s and it has always been awesome!

Thanks for sharing, Jennifer! I love shopping there too.
