Pic of the Day: A Splash of California in Campbell
Beautiful California poppies prove why planting native plants is both good for the environment and good for those who enjoy an afternoon walk.
On a dreary day like today, it's nice to know that just 'round the corner, these bursts of orange are spilling out of the park strips and toward you.
The California poppy is the official state flower and here in Campbell can be found in yards, in empty lots and, in this case, in a downtown neighborhood's park strip.
