"We're expecting in the neighborhood of 800 people," Watson said. "The family is going to participate in the service and there will be a large representation from the school. Andrew was involved in so many different activities. He was heavily involved in Home Church."
On the Mercury News obituary page for Andrew, more than 38 people have left messages of condolences for Carmen Hamady Daou and Christina Daou, Andrew's mother and sister, respectively.
"He was a very popular, upbeat, positive and encouraging person," Watson said. "A lot of people have been touched by this tragedy. It just kind of jarred us. It's so sad ... how could it happen?"
