Local Dog Missing After Owner Has Heart Attack

Neighbors are working to help find Lola, the Brussels Griffon.

 

After a medical emergency near downtown Campbell had paramedics rush to help a Campbell resident, his dog bolted through the front door and ran away.

Lola is a Brussels Griffon , 13 lbs., blond hair, big black eyes, no collar but possibly micro-chipped is friendly, but a little shy. She is often dressed in outfits (cheerleader, bee costume) and usually walks without a leash and sometimes on top of his head downtown.

"This dog means the world to him. He has a medical certificate for her, so he literally takes her everywhere," says neighbor Stacy Hames. "This dog is the owners life. Without her, he may not make it through another heart attack."

Lola was last seen near the Ainsley House around 2:30 p.m. She and her owner Chad live near Central and Latimer avenues.
