West Valley Collection and Recycling, the recycling, green waste and garbage hauler for Campbell, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno and Saratoga, will be collecting up to two holiday trees per residence beginning Wednesday, De. 26 through Jan. 13 as part of its regular yard waste gathering.
Residents are asked to:
- Dispose of undecorated natural or flocked holiday trees.
- Remove stands, tinsel and decorations.
- Cut trees into 5-foot or preferably shorter lengths.
- Place the tree at least one foot away from WVC&R carts.
