HISTORY: Campbell's Rucker Family

This sepia-toned image offers a peek into life 132 years ago.

This week's history photo showcases a family in the Orchard City.

Taken in 1880, the members of the J.H. Rucker Family stand in front of their Victorian home in Campbell.

Dr. Wayland is the second from left on porch. A total of 23 people of all ages from tiny baby to white-haired matron, smile (or not) for the camera.

The J. H. Rucker could possibly be Joseph H. Rucker b. 1865, nephew of Mary Rucker Campbell.
