Hey Campbell, Did You Know ...

...

The Winchester Mystery House is well known for its eccentric owner, Sarah Winchester. However, did you know that the Winchester Mystery House was considered to be in the town of Campbell and not San Jose?

When Sarah L. Winchester died in 1922, her death certificate noted that she died in the town of Campbell on Los Gatos Road (now called Winchester Boulevard). Later, the city of San Jose incorporated the area, which included the Winchester House.

Was Sarah Winchester really as guilt-ridden and superstitious as history remembers her? Could everything we know about Sarah Winchester be just rumor?
