Help Raise Money for Breast Cancer at the Pruneyard

Portera Community Celebration is holding a fundraising event at the Pruneyard Shopping Center tonight.

A breast cancer survivor who helped organize a community
fundraising event in Campbell this evening hopes to show that people do not need to spend a lot of money to make a positive impact.

Tonight's Portera Community Celebration will benefit the Community Health Partnership, a nonprofit organization that works with health centers to provide breast cancer screenings and mammograms to low-income women who are 35 years old or older in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.

The suggested minimum donation for this evening's event is only $5 and will feature food and drinks from as well as live music by local Michael Jackson tribute band, Foreverland, organizers said.
