Get Out in Campbell: Rascal Flatts, Zumba Fitness and More

Rascal Flatts is coming to Shoreline, the Westmont High football home opener and the final weekend for Shout! the MOD musical at the Retro Dome.

Where/When: 1 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA. Friday, 7 p.m.

Why Go: Rascal Flatts brings their country rockin' roots to the Bay Area this weekend at the Shoreline Ampitheatre in Mountain View.  Sara Evans and Justin Moore will open for the veteran country trio that has been churning out hits for more than a decade.

Where/When: , 1 W Campbell Ave, Campbell, CA 95008 (Building N Room 76). Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. 

Why Go: This class one of many great classes at Marie Stinnett Dance Studio. The up-tempo workout is an excellent way to start your weekend off right. The Zumba fitness workout lasts just over an hour and concludes with a unique set of stretching exercises to close out the session. 

Pricing: $10 a class, $12 for drop-in. 

Where/When: 51 S San Antonio Rd, Los Altos, CA. Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Why Go: This two-day event features elaborate electric and steam powered train track layouts of model railroads, a station featuring train-themed activities for young children, food vendors, and more. The event is free, but a small donation per family is recommended.

Where/When: 1694 Saratoga Ave, San Jose, CA.  Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. 

Why Go: Celebrate The Retro Dome's 2nd Anniversary with a "simply smashing" show that celebrates the sights and sounds of the era that made England SWING! Follow five fab gals on a high-energy, hip-shaking, non-stop vibrant trip through the decade. Don't miss this "Austin Powers"- like musical that brings back the beautiful birds and smashing sounds that made England "swing' in the '60s.

Pricing: $38.50

Where/When: 4805 Westmont Ave, Campbell, CA. Friday, 7:30 p.m. 

Why Go: The Monta Vista High football team is off to an 2-0 start and will hit the road to face Westmont High-Campbell this Friday night.  Monta Vista blasted Prospect High 50-0 last Friday after a 41-14 victory over Overfelt High in week one. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday night in Campbell. Westmont lost it's season opener last Thursday to Independance High, 21-6, and will look to even things up this week in their home opener.
