Five Things to Do in Campbell This Weekend

Campbell is loaded with events every week. Here's our 'short list' of things to check out before the weekend's over.

 

It's an Earth Day weekend and Campbell is loaded with things to do, ways to help Mother Earth and build community.

1. Top of the Fin

Downtown Campbell Boutique Bela La Vie is hosting an art show complete with live music and cupcakes. The event takes place Friday, April 19 from 7:00-10:00 p.m.

2. The Great Cloth Diaper Change in Campbell

Celebrate Earth Day on Saturday, April 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with Tiny Tots on Railway Avenue. The local shop is holding its 3rd Annual Great Cloth Diaper Change. The first 50 participants will receive swag bags loaded with goodies. Also that day, Minikins Market, Images by Rosalinda and diaper crafts and burp cloths.

3. Community Cleanup Event

The city of Campbell is inviting its residents to take part in the Great American Litter Pickup, in conjunction with the city of San Jose. The event takes place Saturday, April 20 from 8:00 am. to noon at the Los Gatos Creek County Park on Dell Avenue. Register online here or call Diana Johnson at 408-866-2749

4. Pop Star Food Favorites

The Campbell Library is hosting a hands-on cooking class for teens this Saturday, April 20 from 10:15-11:15 a.m. Teens will learn how to make some of their favorite pop star's favorite foods.

5. Casino Night!

The Campbell Museum & Ainsley House Foundation invites you to come out Saturday, April 20 from 6-10:00 p.m. for its second annual Casino Night fundraiser. Tickets are now available for purchase at the Campbell Historical Museum, 51 N. Central: $35.00 in advance and $40 at the door.
