It's still chilly out but that hasn't put a damper on things going on in the Orchard City.

For now, here’s our short list of fun events this weekend:
1. Cafe Artemis Celebrates Ribbon Cutting
This Pruneyard eatery has recently rennovated its space and added a full-service bar to the mix. It will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony, complete with giveaways on Wednesday, Jan. 30 from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
2. Community Breakfast
The United Way Silicon Valley is holding it's annual Community Breakfast at Villa Ragusa in Campbell. The event takes place Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 7:00 a.m. and costs $25. The organization will discuss it's work in Santa Clara County.
3. Your Social Security
The Campbell Library is hosting an event to discuss seven ways to maximize your Social Security benefits. The event takes place Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 7:00 p.m. and is free to attend.
4. Silicon Valley Reads
This three-month long series that offers 120 events throughout Silicon Valley kicks off at the Heritage Theatre on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 7:30 p.m. with on-stage conversations with authors Brian Castner, of The Long Walk, and Sue Diaz, of Minefields of the Heart.
5. Make a Mosaic
The Art Beat in downtown Campbell is offering an "Introduction to Mosaics" class that kicks off Thursday, Jan. 31 and continues for the next six weeks. The cost is $240 and all levels are welcomed. For more information, please email: Laura@mosaichearts.com.
