Find a New Love in Your Life

Many rescue organizations will have adoption fairs this weekend.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate love than to adopt a dog or cat? This weekend, there are several adoption events taking place in and around the Campbell area.

If you’re looking for unconditional love, go to Saturday to see the cats and kittens up for adoption from Unconditional Love Animal Rescue.

Featured here is Ginger, an aptly named orange-and-white short-haired cat. She was rescued from a local shelter more than three years ago, and she’d do best with a cat-savvy person who could patiently work with her and build trust. She’s loving and looking for love in return, however, not with other dogs. For more details about Ginger and other cats from Unconditional Love Animal Rescue, visit ul-rescue.org.

Take a look at Piper, a sweet Russian blue mix female who’s 6-7 years old. She’s looking for a safe and quiet home where she can shine as the only cat. She’s tested negative for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus, has been spayed and microchipped and is up-to-date on her shots. Good Success Rate

At on both Saturday and Sunday, 13th Street Cats will feature cats and kittens looking for new homes. The organization has a good success rate, finding homes for 216 felines last year.

Featured here is LJ, a beautiful 6-year-old female tabby with golden eyes. LJ would do best in a home without children or other cats. She loves people and also values her independence. She has been microchipped and is ready for her new forever home. For more information about LJ and other cats available from 13th Street Cats, visit 13thstcats.org.
