Christmas in Campbell Kicks Off Tonight

The three-week event offers a chance to stroll downtown, shop, eat and be merry.

Twinkle lights, garlands, carolers and music on the streets. Yup. It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas in Campbell.

Christmas in Campbell is a three-week event that takes place every year in the downtown, says Brooke Ramirez, owner of Bombshell Boutique.

She and other local business owners team up and organize various holiday cheer for the three weekends leading up to the big day.

Kicking off tonight, Dec. 7 the Mountain View High School Madrigals will walk along Campbell Avenue singing holidays songs. In front of Rocket Fizz Campbell, there will be a duo performing live music-Mary Ellen Duell and Randy Sauro.

On Dec. 8, a duo including Andrew Paz will be playing outside of Frost Cupcake Factory and Chip DeVille will be playing at Simply Smashing!

"We want to bring holiday cheer to downtown Campbell," Ramirez says.

This time of year, local businesses rely heavily on those choosing to shop local, she says. And shoppers won't be disappointed, she says.

"You can get it all done here," Ramirez says. "You can get a bite, receive one-on-one attention in the shops and there's plenty of parking."

The events take place on the following dates:

  • Fridays from 6-9 p.m. on Dec. 7, 14 & 21
  • Saturdays from 12-3 p.m. on Dec. 8, 15 & 22
